Senior Web Designer (Ref: 010718)

The Senior Web Designer works within a small team of graphic designers, developers and strategists to create top-notch Web sites for clients and our own company. The Designer will consult with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage web sites and content management systems (CMS).

• A Proven leader of web development initiatives, with 5+ years experience working as a designer on the vendor and/or client side (vendor experience is required, unless comparable client-side experience is demonstrated).
• Responsible for a range of needs, from design and production of simple Flash animations
• Fantastic visual designer but also possess a refined ability to put yourself in the position of the people who will use the things you design.
• Knowledge of relevant industry tools specifically Photoshop & Illustrator, be able to design with hand-coded, table-less, cross-browser, semantic XHTML / CSS in mind, and have a defined understanding of what is and isn't possible.
• Experience with dynamic websites (CMS) and "Bullet Proof" design techniques.
• Knowledge of accessibility and a working knowledge of SEO best practices.
