DKSH Club Gourmet is a by-invitation only marketing and loyalty program for the supportive customers of the food services and hotel supplies of DKSH, a leading supply chain company headquartered in Switzerland.
Challenge
theOrigo was first approached to develop the Club Gourmet website to allow DKSH to connect with hotel and high-end restaurant chefs in Hong Kong and Macau. The website wanted to feature a product catalog, exclusive discounts to members, invitation to product demonstration and regular member gatherings, etc. The challenge is to ensure that the website is seamlessly link to the ERP system of the client to avoid double entry of data and that the data are synchronised.
Results
The resulting website is one that is sophisticated. Design-wise, the website carries theOrigo's creative, clean and well-organised look. In terms of webpage management, it allows the client to add and change information and links at a reduced time and energy. theOrigo introduced many features, an online chef community, online cooking demonstration and invitation to events, blog by an in-house chef, a recipe section. Satisfied with the initial work, theOrigo was retained by the client to help it reach out to mainland Chinese customers. theOrigo continues to manage the website and provide professional services in the client's efforts to communicate with clients through its website.
