A Digital Platform for Performance, Patronage, and Public Engagement

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is one of Asia’s leading orchestras, presenting a full concert season, international collaborations, education programmes, and digital performances. Its website functions not only as a brand presence, but as a mission-critical public platform connecting audiences to performances, tickets, artists, and media content.

Our partnership began with the design and development of the core website. Over time, the platform expanded to include a dedicated Ticket Subscription system and the Watch & Listen streaming hub. The engagement evolved into a long-term digital collaboration spanning experience design, engineering, and cloud architecture.

We restructured complex concert, artist, and programme content into a layered information architecture that supports both exploration and conversion, ensuring audiences can discover performances easily while moving seamlessly toward ticket purchase and subscription.

Scalable Cloud Engineering

Built on an autoscaling AWS infrastructure, the platform is engineered to handle traffic surges during ticket releases and season launches, maintaining performance stability and reliability during peak demand periods.

Evolving Digital Ecosystem

Beyond the core website, we expanded the platform with an integrated Ticket Subscription system and the Watch & Listen streaming hub, creating a connected digital ecosystem that extends engagement beyond the concert hall.

Concert listings are structured for clarity, allowing filtering by season and programme type. Each event page consolidates key information — programme details, ticket access, venue data, and related content — into a focused layout designed to support informed booking decisions.

Integrated Subscription & Multi-Device Experience

Audiences can browse programmes on mobile, explore details on desktop, and manage full-season subscriptions through a dedicated online system. The Ticket Subscription platform integrates seamlessly with the main site, ensuring continuity across browsing, selection, and commitment.
